Reports suggested that they might have been at risk of an awkward encounter. Recently, Pitt attended the NYC premiere of his upcoming film “F1” in Times Square.

Exes Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie almost risked run-ins as they were reportedly going around in Manhattan this past week. However, they were on the streets of NYC for different purposes.
According to Page Six, a source spotted the 50-year-old Hollywood actress at Fairway Market on 74th Street in the Upper West Side. She was alone and shopping for groceries for her kids. Reportedly, one of her sons has been staying in her old house in The Ansonia while her children use it as “a crash pad.”
Meanwhile, her ex-husband’s reason for visiting NYC was related to the press tour of his latest project. Pitt and his girlfriend, Ines de Ramon, walked the red carpet at the New York City Premiere of “F1” on June 16. The couple looked gorgeous as they held hands and posed intimately for the cameras.
In one of the red carpet interviews, Pitt, who plays Formula 1 driver Sonny Hayes in the movie, was asked if his role influenced de Ramon to become a racing fan. The 61-year-old actor said, “Well, she is European, so she already had a taste.” Previously, they were spotted on a double date at the Michelin-starred Korean steakhouse, Cote, in the Flatiron District. Bradley Cooper and Gigi Hadid accompanied Pitt and the 32-year-old jewelry designer.
Meanwhile, Jolie and her ex-husband have had barely missed awkward encounters this week. They got married in 2014, but she filed for divorce after two years. After an eight-year-long legal battle, their divorce was finalized in December 2024. Furthermore, all six kids are under Jolie’s care while Pitt has hit a rough patch with them.
