Fresh out of the villa, Love Island USA star Charlie Georgiou is feeling frustrated with how things turned out. He spent his time falling head over heels with Hannah Fields, only for America to end up pairing her up with new bombshell, Pepe Garcia.
That pairing left Charlie vulnerable, and his fellow Islanders voted him out in Episode 12. Now, he’s watching the season from home like the rest of us, frustrated that he missed his shot with Hannah.
Charlie Georgiou says it’s “brutal” knowing Hannah Fields will be with Pepe Garcia

Charlie, who showed up as a bombshell in Episode 2, spoke with Decider about his exit from Love Island. He said he felt attracted to Hannah’s all-American vibe. Then, in the true spirit of America, a vote ruined everything.
“We really connected. It was beautiful. We spoke. We found out more things about each other on a deeper level,” Charlie said of his time with Hannah.
He continued, “I was like, ‘Wow, this is it. I’m gonna get to experience this real Love Island journey now. We’re gonna do this together. Whatever comes at us, okay. If we mess up along the way, it’s all part of the journey.’”
Part of that journey also involved Hannah taking time to get to know Pepe, the former professional basketball player who arrived in Episode 9. Fans used the Love Island App to couple them up, and the rest is history.
Hannah bawled her eyes out the night Charlie left, but she quickly moved on with Pepe the following morning. According to Charlie, he could hardly stand watching them explore their relationship in the following episodes. He had to turn it off.
“She’s gonna continue her journey now,” Charlie lamented. “I think that’s what pains me the most about it is that there’s gonna be so many other guys that get to have their moments now, and mine was robbed. Mine was genuinely taken away from me.”
Love Island USA is streaming on Peacock.
