As he celebrates ten years of sobriety, he and his wife, Lauren Sorrentino, are gearing up for a reality show that will show them helping others recover from addiction. It’s like Intervention meets Jersey Shore.

In an interview with TMZ, Mike excitedly shared the news of his new venture, where he and Lauren will help people on their journeys in addiction and mental health recovery. According to Mike, this has been a long time coming.
Both Mike and Lauren are closely connected to the recovery community. Mike is celebrating ten years of sobriety after suffering from an addiction to prescription painkillers. Lauren lost her brother to addiction. Now, Mike says they’re ready to turn their “pain into purpose.”
“Me and my wife are teaming up, and we’re going to be going door to door to course correct an addict’s life from active addiction into recovery,” Mike said.
Lauren and Mike are both certified “motivational interventionists,” and the upcoming reality show coincides with the opening of their treatment facility. The New Jersey facility called Archangel Centers is set to open later this summer. It will offer addiction and mental health services for people of all ages.
When reflecting on his new career path, Mike gave a shoutout to the Jersey Shore fans who have been following him for all of these years. He’s proud of how far he’s come and said he’s hoping to break the stigma surrounding addiction by advocating for those suffering.
“I’m here to prove that the comeback is greater than the setback,” Mike proudly declared.
Mike and Lauren’s new reality show is still in early development, but in the meantime, you can catch them on MTV. Jersey Shore Family Vacation Season 8 is airing now with the entire crew back in the mix.
