Gwyneth Paltrow told Chris Martin he is ‘welcome to stay at the house’ with the kids, claims ‘source’
Chris Martin and Dakota Johnson’s breakup rumors after eight years of an on-and-off relationship have taken the internet by storm. However, amidst the chaos, the musician’s ex-wife, Gwyneth Paltrow, has reportedly been offering him some comfort. According to Radar Online, the entrepreneur has been telling her social circle that she’ll always be there for him.
Paltrow was reportedly vacationing with her husband, Brad Falchuk, when she heard about the alleged breakup. According to the outlet, the Goop founder has been in regular contact with the Coldplay member since then as he tries to wrap his head around the breakup. A source close to the businesswoman claimed that she’s been empathizing with his “pain.”
The insider also claimed that Paltrow was open to the prospect of her ex-husband spending the summer in her Los Angeles home. The former couple had been married for over a decade before their “consciously uncoupling” decision in 2014. However, the pair has largely been on good terms since. So, it isn’t a surprise that the actor supposedly “lightheartedly offered to play matchmaker” for her ex.
Speaking about her decision to offer him her home, the source said, “Gwyneth has told Chris he’s welcome to stay at the house, and the kids would be thrilled to have them under one roof.” Meanwhile, Johnson has been busy with the press tour of her movie, “Materialists,” amid her split with the Coldplay frontman. Neither party has addressed the ongoing breakup rumors as of yet.
