Sources informed the publication that Kris Jenner, Kim Kardashian, and Khloe Kardashian can’t understand why Chalamet is “so antisocial and downright snobby towards them.” Reportedly, he has avoided getting too close to his girlfriend’s elder sisters, a decision that hasn’t been sitting well with the ladies.
Insiders claimed the Kardashian sisters have “extended endless invites to family gatherings, fancy restaurants and weekends away in Palm Springs.” Although the award-winning actor “appreciates” their efforts, he has been sharp enough to catch on that “they almost certainly have ulterior motives.” These could include featuring him on “The Kardashians” or using his stardom and “connections for networking purposes.”
Nevertheless, Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner’s sisters, Khloe and Kim Kardashian, do hang out on rare occasions. The source clarified that even though he “obliges” to occasionally spending time with Jenner’s family, he is “rarely there longer than an hour” and “bails” anytime he can come up with a good excuse. It appeared Kendall Jenner is the only exception among the sisters.
The insider further revealed that the “A Complete Unknown” star “knows what he’s doing.” He has been “getting a ton of free PR by dating Kylie,” but seemingly lacks interest in being “wrapped into the Kardashian world.” Sources also revealed that Chalamet’s family and friends have warned him that dating a reality star could negatively impact his career. Moreover, he’s “got a very smart head on his shoulders” and “made this decision for himself.”
