Hailey Bieber Will Not Become a Billionaire Despite Lucrative Rhode Sale, Claim ‘Experts’

Hailey Bieber’s $1 billion Rhode sale by partnering with e.l.f. Beauty may have changed her net worth, but she’s reportedly “definitely not” a billionaire. Finance experts recently told U.S. Weekly that despite securing the lucrative deal, it intended to pay out multiple parties, including the model, her co-founders, and investors. The report unpacked the deal, with the experts explaining how the value was broken down and estimating the entrepreneur’s share.

Hailey Bieber will make ‘north of $300 million’ from Rhode sale, claim ‘experts’

Finance experts recently told U.S. Weekly that Hailey Bieber’s net worth has “definitely not” hit the billionaire mark, despite the highly lucrative Rhode sale. In the magazine’s latest issue, specialist Drew Fallon applauded her on landing the massive $1 billion deal with e.l.f Beauty, calling it a “fantastic move.” However, a second expert and content creator, Caroline Begleiter, confirmed that Bieber’s worth “definitely” didn’t hit the billion-dollar mark overnight.

Begleiter clarified that the cosmetics brand paid a billion dollars as the value for the “entire company.” A part of the deal, $200 million, would go to the investors if the company’s revenue targets are hit. The expert revealed that they would then put the same amount in e.l.f. Stocks. This leaves $600 million for the model, her investors, and co-founders, Michael Ratner and Lauren Ratner.

Fallon and Begleiter deduced that Hailey Bieber likely got “north of $300 million” from the Rhode sale. Both experts came to this conclusion, believing she owns about 50 to 60 percent of the company. Forbes‘ report previously made a similar estimate, asserting that it was highly unlikely that she would become a billionaire from the deal. Likewise, the report hinted that she would walk away with at least nine figures.

Besides the multimillion-dollar sum, the 28-year-old had announced that she would he stepping up into new roles. These include Rhode’s Chief Creative Officer, Head of Innovation for her 3-year-old brand, and e.l.f. Beauty’s strategic advisor.
