One of the many stars of Next Gen NYC is Georgia McCann. Unlike many of her co-stars, she wasn’t raised on Bravo, so this is truly her reality TV debut. First impressions are absolutely everything … and Georgia’s hasn’t been that great. The first strike was the now infamous sanitary issue. Co-star Riley Burruss called her out for not washing her hands after using the restroom. Yikes.
Then there’s the awkward scene where she’s literally brushing her hair with a fork instead of a comb. Strike two. Thankfully, there haven’t been any other uncomfortable on-screen moments from her in the past few episodes. But, there’s one association in her personal life that may qualify for some fans as the third strike to officially put Georgia in a bad light. And her name is Anna Delvey.
Next Gen NYC’s Georgia McCann worked on Anna Delvey’s house arrest party
Georgia was introduced on Next Gen NYC as a brands and events creative strategist. Her resume? Well one of her former events that she threw was for Anna Delvey at the height of her controversy.
“Anna and I had some mutual friends and I just came up with this idea over lunch with a friend, like, “What if we turned her apartment into the hottest nightclub in New York for one night only?” Because she was under house arrest in the East Village. My friend loved the idea and he introduced me to Anna and she was super into it. She was like, “Hell yeah, why not? Let’s do it,’” she explained to Decider.
Now, Georgia and Anna aren’t best friends by any means. She didn’t even support her on social media or in person during her Dancing with the Stars Season 33. Which, based on all of the backlash she got on the show, she needed.
“We did the party. We stayed in touch, but she did the remainder of her house arrest upstate with Kelly Cutrone. Honestly, I need to reach out. I need to see how that girl’s doing.”
Next Gen NYC airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo, and streams on Peacock the next day. It’s also available to stream on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
