Brad Pitt’s LA home burglarized and suspects remain at large, ‘police’ claim
PEOPLE learned from the Los Angeles Police Department that there was a burglary at Brad Pitt’s home in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles. The alleged incident occurred around 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The three suspects reportedly “broke into the residence via the front window.” The police said that they “ransacked the location” and then “fled” the scene with “miscellaneous property.” All three burglars who broke into Pitt’s property have not been publicly identified.
It is also unclear at the time of writing how much of Pitt’s stuff was taken by the suspects. The incident comes amid a wave of high-end burglaries in LA. In February, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s Los Angeles home was burglarized. At the time, it was reported that burglars allegedly smashed a glass door or window to break into the property. Last year, Tom Hanks and Rita Wilson’s home was also burglarized. Meanwhile, Pitt was not at his home at the time when the alleged burglary took place.
It comes amid the 61-year-old actor taking over several stops for the international press tour of his latest film, “F1.” On Wednesday, the day of the burglary, Pitt was seen at an event in Tokyo, Japan. Before this, he attended the European premiere of “F1” in London, England, on June 23. Pitt’s girlfriend, Ines de Ramon, also joined him at the event.
