Things have been really amped up for Love Island USA. Season 7 has brought the drama, the memes, and the social media managers. And one social media handler is realizing it’s hard work! Bombshell Elan Bibas’ brother Tal Bibas joked that he didn’t realize what he signed up for when he agreed to help his brother handle his social media.
This isn’t new. A lot of folks who go on Love Island have people to handle their socials so they can stay in touch with the viewers while on the show. And usually it’s all good. Although sometimes, it gets awkward — like when Cierra Ortega’s team decided to reveal they weren’t happy with her choices. Yikes.
Elan’s life has changed with Love Island, and so has his brother’s
Although sometimes a social media can also help have your back while you can’t defend yourself. After all, things can get pretty heated online. Host Ariana Madix even asked fans to keep it classy in the comments when things got pretty hateful.
For Tal though, it means answering tons of messages from folks online. He posted a funny clip of his life recently and captioned it: “POV: Your brother goes on Love Island and you accidentally become his manager, assistant, and crisis hotline.”
In the clip you can see Tal answering a bunch of direct messages on social while helping grow Elan’s brand. Elan was one of the six bombshells to enter Casa Amor and shake things up.
And it looks like Tal is onboard to help make sure that Elan is able to utilize his time on the show. Bet Tal had his hands full after everything between Elan, Cierra, and Nic Vansteenberghe.
Elan’s brother elaborated on his hard work further. “Didn’t ask to be the social media manager for a Love Island cast member. But here we are. Managing the DMs. Running the brand,” he explained. “All for zero pay and endless screen time. They say your life doesn’t change when your brother goes on national TV. They lied.”
Looks like Tal got more than he bargained for with Elan in the villa and making out with Cierra on national television.
