There is a whirlwind of speculations after Lady Gaga did not perform at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s lavish Italian wedding, and a new report claims that the singer-songwriter was never offered a “deal.”
The multi-day celebration took place in Venice last week, with a star-studded guest lineup witnessing Bezos and Sanchez’s nuptials. Ahead of the ceremony, it was heavily rumored that Gaga would perform at the grand wedding. However, according to new claims, no “serious deal” was made with the pop star for a gig.
No ‘serious deal’ was made about the performance, says ‘insider’
Lady Gaga never got into “serious” discussions to perform at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s wedding, a new report has suggested. While the grand ceremony has wrapped up, there is chatter around why the 39-year-old didn’t do a live gig despite the rumors. Recently, Rob Shuter even claimed that the performance did not happen because the singer demanded a whopping “$6 million for a single night.” The Amazon founder allegedly declined the fee.
However, according to new claims, there was no proper deal in place for the reported performance. A source exclusively told the Daily Mail that Gaga “never” had a “real deal to perform at Jeff Bezos’s wedding.” The singer-actor reportedly “gets offers every second.” The source stated that the pop star “would have considered” the high-profile Bezos-Sanchez ceremony. However, they alleged that “nothing was ever realistic and offered.”
The insider further asserted that a “serious deal was never considered.” Therefore, they added, “There shouldn’t be any Gaga controversy when it comes to their wedding.” The source also shut down the speculations that the fee was the issue for her. They claimed, “Any monetary option never got to the point of being serious.” The insider continued to explain that Bezos and Sanchez had “endless options” and “ideas” for their nuptials.
In the end, the couple reportedly decided to go in a different direction. The Daily Mail insider stated that the Italian wedding “turned out the way they wanted it.”
