In Season 2 of The Valley, Jesse Lally told an unusual story about how he got concussed during a hockey game. That led to him calling his estranged wife, Michelle Saniei. She was still his emergency contact, despite their breakup.
At first, that story might have sounded odd, but it turns out Jesse has an extensive history with hockey. He’s been on the ice since he was a kid! Whether or not he should have called Michelle after taking that hit? That’s an argument for another day.
The Valley star Jesse Lally has a love for hockey
On The Valley, we know Jesse as a luxury real estate agent. Prior to that, he spent his younger days playing hockey — and a lot of it! According to his LinkedIn, he attended high school at a private institution called Belmont Hill. There, he played hockey in addition to a ton of other sports.
Jesse’s love for the game actually started way before then. In an Instagram post from February, he shared some adorable photos of his daughter trying out ice skating. If you flip through the post, he included some pics of himself as a kid on the ice, with his hockey stick in hand.
“I was a year old when my father first took me on the ice. Spent my entire life playing hockey at the highest levels,” Jesse wrote on Instagram.
“Now what incredible experience 43 years later taking my daughter on the ice for the first time,” he continued. “She was a natural. I was in tears thinking about how full circle that moment is.”
It’s probably only a matter of time before Jesse’s little one has a hockey stick in her hands, just like he did went he was little. Let’s just hope there aren’t any more concussions!
