Vanna Einerson joined Love Island USA in the hopes of finding love. Instead, she found quite a bit of cyberbullying and it wasn’t always easy. Several online fans questioned her appearance and rumors swirled about plastic surgery.
Online trolling is part and parcel of the reality TV experience. Some stars are lucky and get the fans undying love and support, but others end up on the other side of the spectrum and it can be harsh. So much so that Love Island USA even released a statement previously asking viewers to be kind. It looks like that still rings true now.
Love Island USA star Vanna reveals her plastic surgery and cosmetic procedures
Vanna, the Casa Amor bombshell, was bombarded with comments and speculation about her appearance. She appeared on an episode of The Viall Files podcast to address the rumors following her elimination from the reality dating series.
“The first call I made before touching social media was to my mom,” Vanna shared. “And she said, ‘Maybe don’t go online until you’re home with me.’ And I was like ‘Wait, what?’ And of course, I immediately go online.”
She revealed she went online to a lot of hate, fortunately Coco Watson really helped her get through it when she had a breakdown. And her family and team at home were also doing a lot of damage control to help cushion the blow.
Vanna noted that a lot of the things people were saying about her highlighted things she never saw in herself and pointed out new insecurities. Despite her sharing that she was “very secure” in her looks, she addressed some of the things people were saying.
“Due, I got my lips done, and I like my lips,” she clarified. “But my cheeks and chin I’ve had for life. Born with it.” She also shared that she had breast augmentation. But there was one rumor she wanted to shut down.
“Apparently, I’ve been getting fillers in my face since since I was 14 and my mom is my injector,” she said. “What are you guys talking about? My mom’s a stay-at-home mom!”
Vanna admitted to shedding tears over the online bashing and urged fans to “get it together” reminding them that “words really hit so hard.”
