The Valley’s Janet Caperna Refuses To Back Down Over ‘Sexual Assault’ Allegations Against Danny Booko

No one expected Season 2 of The Valley to go completely off the rails, but here we are. This situation all started with Danny Booko. While drunk, he had an inappropriate encounter with co-star Jasmine Goode and her fiancé Melissa Corelli. The three later sat down and addressed it, during which Danny gave a heartfelt apology that they accepted. The end? Nope, only the beginning.

In Season 2, Episode 13, Janet Caperna decides to throw her two cents into the matter. In a jaw-dropping argument, she referred to his touching with Jasmine and Melissa as sexual assault. This caused Kristen Doute to go berserk, and now that it’s been aired to the world, Janet is taking the blowback head on.

Danny Booko says “there’s no coming back from this” after Janet Caperna’s accusations

During The Valley After Show Janet addressed her bombshell statement and stood by it.

“I understand that that was harsh language, and I get that. And I understand why that was like a tough pill for Nia and Danny to swallow. The same time, when you put your hands on somebody’s butt without consent, that falls under the term that I used,” she defended in the episode.

Of course, Danny is furious with Janet and makes it clear that “there’s no coming back from this”. Yikes.

The whole question of the matter, though, is wherever or not she’s wrong. Jasmine herself agreed that it’s not the latter.

“It just sucks because she’s not wrong when she says it was SA. You know, cause it kind of technically is,” she admitted.

Even Zack Wickham acknowledged this, but still wasn’t exactly on board with it, adding that, “We did look up the definition and unfortunately the definition is very broad and I had no idea how broad that was. I definitely would’ve used like a different term than that.”

At this rate, the current cast will all be cancelled or pure enemies by the finale.

The Valley airs at 8/7c each Tuesday on Bravo. It’s also available to stream on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
