However, the Bennifer marriage era was short-lived as they parted ways for the second time last year. A new report has now claimed that Garner “never trusted” Affleck and Lopez’s reunion.

Jennifer Garner may have had some thoughts on Ben Affleck’s brief marriage to Jennifer Lopez. Although the actor reportedly publicly supported her ex-husband’s reunion with his former flame, according to new claims, she also had her doubts. Rob Shuter’s ShuterScoop exclusively learned from a source that Garner “smiled for the kids,” but “there was tension” behind “closed doors.” She shares three children — Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel — with Affleck.
According to the source, Garner felt like Lopez “stirred up chaos.” However, they added, “Ben doesn’t need chaos.” The “Alias” reportedly stepped up to support her ex-husband following his split from Lopez. A friend told ShuterScoop that Garner is “Team Ben.” They explained, “She was there before, during, and after Bennifer.” The friend added, “Now she’s back in his corner in a big way.”
An insider further clarified that Garner is “not angling for a romantic reunion.” However, she reportedly has “always” had Affleck’s “back.” The insider claimed that Lopez “felt that shift” and “that’s why they’re done.” The “On The Floor” hitmaker and Garner are reportedly no longer on speaking terms. Following the split, Lopez has been focusing on her career and is currently occupied with her “Up All Night: Live in 2025″ world tour.
Meanwhile, a recent report also suggested that Affleck was looking for a bachelor pad in Brentwood, which happens to be near Garner’s house. On the other hand, the latter has been in an on-and-off relationship with her boyfriend, John Miller, since 2018.
