Beyonce’s unreleased music reportedly stolen from choreographer’s car
E! News cited the official police complaint, revealing details about the alleged Atlanta theft of Beyonce‘s stolen music. The incident reportedly occurred on July 8 when jump drives consisting of her unreleased works, along with footage plans and setlists for her future Cowboy Carter Tour shows, were taken from the vehicle of her choreographer, Christopher Grant, and dancer Diandre Blue.
The incident report shared that Grant had been “carrying some personal sensitive information” for the Grammy winner. He mentioned in the statement that the stolen “hard drives for her upcoming show” in the city “water marked music, some un-released music, footage plans for the show and past and future set lists.” The choreographer and Blue further explained that these jump drives were inside suitcases, which were taken.
Nevertheless, Beyonce proceeded with her four-night Cowboy Carter Tour run in Atlanta after allegedly having her music stolen. She kicked off the first show on July 10 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium and even had her husband, rapper Jay-Z, join her onstage to perform for the third show on July 13. The couple performed a duet and seemingly shared a touching PDA-packed moment in front of thousands of attendees. She is now headed to Las Vegas for the next run.
As for the theft, authorities have reportedly obtained an arrest warrant for a suspect. However, the Atlanta Police Department shared that this individual remains at large. Moreover, they have not disclosed the identity of the individual.
