Nicolas Cage and Sarah Jessica Parker recently opened up about their dating rumors during their 90s rom-com film, “Honeymoon in Vegas.” The 60-year-old diva dropped the bomb casually when Andy Cohen asked about it on “WWHL.” She replied, “Um, yes. I did. Yes, I did,” leaving the audience surprised.
Later, Cage confirmed the same in an interview with E! News. He mentioned that he “cared about Sarah,” but might have failed to pass “the Mom test.” The Oscar-winner further explained that the former couple and Parker’s mother once went for “dinner at the Russian Tea Room.” He couldn’t pinpoint exactly why the actors stopped dating; however, he guessed two reasons. Cage said, “I don’t know if it was my blue Vanson Leather motorcycle jacket (which I still have) or my sinusitis, but I didn’t hear from her again.”
Moreover, a source told Rob Shuter about how much the “Ghost Rider” star remembered his time with his ex-girlfriend. The insider claimed that Cage remembered their movie together but not their “romance.” “He’s not denying it — he just doesn’t remember it happening,” they added.
Meanwhile, Cage has been married five times. His first wife was Patricia Arquette, whom he married in 1995 and divorced in 2001. He then tied the knots with Lisa Marie Presley in 2002 and parted ways after two years. Following that, he married Alice Kim (2004-2016) and became the father of their son, Kal-El. Then, he and Erika Koike were married for three months in 2019. Now, Cage is married to Riko Shibata and has a daughter, August.
Parker, on the other hand, became the wife of actor Matthew Broderick in 1997. They share three children — James Wilkie, Marion Loretta Elwell, and Tabitha Hodge.
