There is still love in Kaylor Martin’s heart for Love Island USA ex-beau Aaron Evans. But it doesn’t necessarily mean that she would go there again. It just means that she still cares about him and loves him in her own way.
The pair met on Love Island Season 6. They connected immediately and were a frontrunner to win the prize. But things fell apart in the villa leading to an early elimination and an eventual dramatic split. But it looks like all this time later, Kaylor doesn’t harbor hard feelings towards her ex-boyfriend.
Could Love Island USA’s Kaylor and Aaron get back together?
Despite a tumultuous relationship in the villa and Aaron’s head getting turned by Casa Amor Daniela Oritz Rivera, Kaylor still gave him another chance. Then, at the reunion he dropped the bombshell on her that he lied to her about exactly what went down during his time with Daniela.
But it looks like it’s all water under the bridge now. And now the former couple are back for Love Island: Beyond the Villa with other fan favorites from the previous season. And in the premiere episode, she was reunited with Aaron for the first time since the August reunion. Things got pretty emotional and she admitted being nervous before seeing him.
“It’s gonna be nerve wracking seeing him,” she shared. “Like I’m actually convinced that he actually hates me, so I’m nervous.” She also noted that he had her blocked on social media.
But she still loved him in her own way. She admitted, “I do think Aaron is a great guy. I know who he is,” she said. “And that’s why I love him. I love him. I care about him.” She also thinks he’s still attractive.
As for Aaron, he took a big step back after the August reunion for his mental health. He went back to the UK in the wake of the negativity and backlash and disconnected from “absolutely everything.” He admitted to signing off his socials.
And while he said there was no bad blood on his side with Kaylor, the reunion was a bit awkward. Still, Aaron apologized for his prior behavior and she admitted that she still feels a bit hurt.
In the end, the former couple said they’d do their best to be civil and avoid the shouting this time around. Here’s hoping they don’t get back together.
