It seems like Paige DeSorbo isn’t fully committed to reality TV retirement. After announcing her exit from Summer House, she is spending her first summer in seven years away from the Bravo cameras. She’s enjoying it, but she recently shared that she wouldn’t rule out a return to reality TV later down the line. Just don’t expect it “anytime soon.”
Paige DeSorbo reflects on leaving Summer House
When Paige announced her exit from the show, she called it one of the “most rewarding chapters” of her life. In the emotional post, she paid tribute to all of her memories with the cast and all the fans at home who have followed their hijinks.
She wrote, “You’ve seen me grow over these last seven summers. I’ll always be beyond grateful for the memories, the community, and the opportunities this wild ride has brought me.”
As the rest of the Summer House crew parties on, Paige chatted with People about her first summer free from reality TV. She still had nothing but positive things to say about her years on Summer House.
“Reality TV was so fun, and I feel like I was the perfect age to do Summer House and what the vibe was,” she explained. “I would never say never, but I think coming off of it after seven years, I would love a break.”
Although Paige noted that it wouldn’t be “anytime soon,” she told fans that she wouldn’t completely count out reality TV. She teased, “I would never say never.”
For now, she’s enjoying having the summer to herself. She said she’s been relaxing and spending time with family. They just recently took a two-week trip to Italy, something she could have never done when filming Summer House.
“I really haven’t been able to go home a lot during the summer,” Paige explained.. “So, I’m actually very excited to spend a couple of weekends in Albany with my family [and] go to some places that I never get the chance to this summer.”
Summer House is streaming on Peacock and Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
