Reality TV isn’t for everyone, and Will Kulp just made it crystal clear where he stands. The Southern Hospitality star announced via Instagram that he’s leaving the show ahead of Season 4. He definitely didn’t mince his words when describing the reasoning. He hated it.
Will Kulp is leaving Southern Hospitality and calls the show “a life lesson”
Will came into the Bravo world in Southern Hospitality Season 1. A bartender and a law student, he formed a relationship with Emmy Sharrett. They got engaged after four years of dating. However, things got rocky between them in Season 3 when Emmy found out he had been going around Charleston and badmouthing her.
Subequently, he skipped the reunion, and now, he’s bowing out from the show altogether. In a July 18 Instagram Story, he explained his decision to exit the series ahead of Season 4.
“A little update: The new season has started filming and unsurprisingly I will not be a part ot this year,” Will wrote. “I will likely never film a second of reality TV ever again. It has been a horrible experience and life lesson.”
“A big thanks to some cast, some production, Andy Cohen, and ALL of the crew for the seasons past,” Will shadily continued. “You know who you are. Your kindness and professionalism are rare occurrences in the industry.”
In his announcement, Will teased that he’ll eventually share some tea about the “experiences with production and the network” that led to this decision. For now, he said he’s focusing on cheering on Emmy from the sidelines. It’s unclear how they’ll address his absence, but what is clear is that Will is excited about this decision. He’s happy to start a new chapter away from the Bravo cameras.
