Zoe Kravitz and Austin Butler hung out as friends at NYC show, ‘sources’ claim
A new report suggests sparks are not flying between Zoe Kravitz and Austin Butler after their recent outing in NYC fueled dating rumors. TMZ has exclusively learned from sources that the pair went to the immersive show “Viola’s Room” at the Shed in Hudson Yards last weekend as friends. The “Caught Stealing” co-stars were reportedly joined by the film’s director, Darren Aronofsky, during the outing.
Kravitz and Butler ignited romance rumors because at the show, the director was not seen around them. Page Six learned from spies that the duo were spotted entering and exiting the venue together. However, sources have confirmed to TMZ that Kravitz and Butler stepped out in NYC just as friends. Meanwhile, the actors were linked after their respective longtime romances ended last year.
In 2024, Kravitz and Channing Tatum parted ways, calling off their engagement after three years together. On the other hand, Butler’s romance with Kaia Gerber also ended towards the end of the same year. They, too, called it quits after three years of dating. Kravitz and Butler have been at the center of speculations since earlier this year.
The co-stars sparked rumors when photos surfaced of them filming an intense kissing scene for their upcoming film. However, Page Six notes that the “Elvis” actor’s reps shut down the romance speculations. Although Austin Butler and Zoe Kravitz are not romantically involved, the anticipation is high for their new project. The upcoming thriller “Caught Stealing” will hit the theatres on August 29.
