Former WWE wrestler, Hall of Famer, and controversial reality TV star Hulk Hogan has died aged 71. Medics responded to a reported cardiac arrest at Hogan’s home in Clearwater early this morning (July 24).

TMZ Sports broke the news, and posted dispatch audio of medics being sent to Hulk’s location. It’s reported that a number of police cars and EMTs parked outside Hulk’s home, before he was carried out on a stretcher and into an ambulance. No further details have been released.
Rumors circulated a few weeks ago that Hulk was on his death bed. His wife, Sky, was forced to deny rumors he was in a coma. She instead said his heart was “strong” after multiple surgeries.
For reality TV fans, Hulk was a big figure. He appeared on his reality documentary series, Hogan Knows Best, for four seasons. There, he featured alongside his then-wife, Linda Hogan, as well as their kids Brooke Hogan and Nick Hogan.
The show was canceled amid filming for a fifth season. As production was halted, due to family problems, it was eventually shelved for good. A spinoff focusing on Brooke – aptly titled Brooke Knows Best – debuted in 2008, and ran for two seasons.
In recent years, Hulk attached his banner to the Trump wagon. He was a highly-vocal supporter of the President in the run-up to the 2024 election.
Hulk also seemed to troll his ex-wife and daughter online, following allegations of abuse. A sad end to the public life of a man who helped change the world of wrestling forever.
