Love Island USA Season 6 finalists JaNa Craig and Kenny Rodriguez called it quits after one year of dating. JaNa and Kenny, who came in third place on Season 6, also appeared together on the spinoff Love Island: Beyond the Villa.
Fans first noticed something was off when JaNa scrubbed her Instagram account. Then they discovered that JaNa unfollowed Kenny, and that many of her Love Island USA co-stars followed suit. Considering they were at an event together mere hours before, it left people wondering what went wrong. Eventually, the split was confirmed.

Love Island couple JaNa and Kenny’s tension was palpable on Beyond the Villa
On Love Island USA, JaNa and Kenny were compared to Naveen and Tiana from Princess and the Frog so often that the couple even dressed like them for Halloween. But their real life post-villa wasn’t a fairytale.
Fans saw tension between JaNa and Kenny on the Love Island Season 6 reunion show Beyond the Villa. To film the show, JaNa and Kenny temporarily moved to Los Angeles for a few months. JaNa wanted to use this as a trial run for moving in together. However, Kenny wanted his own space. So, instead of staying in the same apartment, JaNa and Kenny rented two separate apartments adjacent to one another.
Viewers got a glimpse of this conflict in the Beyond the Villa trailer. In that teaser, Kenny appeared to say he wanted space from JaNa specifically. JaNa commented that it wasn’t what he said, but editors cobbled that together.
Even still, the tension between the two was palpable on Beyond the Villa. They weren’t on the same page and often seemed annoyed with each other. When they did a Q&A to see how well Kenny knew JaNa, he got almost every question wrong. There also appeared to be tension over Instagram followings and JaNa’s career as an influencer. By comparison, Kenny felt like he was more reserved and had imposter syndrome.
Kenny and JaNa have scrubbed their Instagram accounts
Fans first noticed something was off thanks to JaNa’s Instagram. Early on Sunday July 27, JaNa scrubbed Kenny from her account. She deleted all the photos of them together and removed his name from her Instagram bio. JaNa also turned off her Instagram comments.
Soon enough, Kenny followed suit. He also deleted all pictures with JaNa and removed her name from his bio. Kenny also removed an IG stories highlight that was dedicated to JaNa. However, Kenny left his comments on. JaNa unfollowed Kenny, but he still appears to be following her.
JaNa’s villa besties Leah Kateb and Serena Page unfollowed Kenny, which isn’t terribly surprising. But it is interesting that Miguel Harichi and Kordell Beckham unfollowed Kenny as well. While their girlfriends Leah and Serena are JaNa’s besties, Miguel and Kordell appeared to have their own close friendship with Kenny. Meanwhile, Leah responded to supportive comments about JaNa on her own Instagram.
Other islanders like Kaylor Martin, Liv Walker, and Nicole Jacky unfollowed Kenny as well. That lead to even more speculation about what caused the split. A mass cast unfollowing seems a bit dramatic for a breakup if JaNa and Kenny just grew apart.

The night before their split, JaNa and Kenny attended YouTuber David Dobrik’s birthday party together. They posted videos together at the event that evening. Fellow reality star Harry Jowsey even posted a SnapChat of the two romantically dancing together. He likes making videos.
According to TMZ, they broke up the morning after this party. JaNa was reportedly the one who chose to call it quits.
This lead to a lot of speculation that something must’ve happened at the party to cause their split. Including rumors that they had a big fight at the party, as well as cheating speculation. However, at this time, that’s completely hearsay. A source told People that there was no public blowout at the party. But the source also added that they will not get back together. We’ll have to wait and see if JaNa or Kenny reveal the whole story.
