Livvy Dunne recently proved that she and boyfriend Paul Skenes had crossed paths before their acquaintance. In her recent video, the former LSU gymnast shared that she discovered a connection with the Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher before they knew each other. She showed a ticket stub from her attendance at a 2021 baseball game between the Air Force Falcons and LSU, where Skenes played for the former team. Dunne expressed her surprise, since the couple had not met each other back then.
Dunne’s ‘meant-to-be’ story with her beau warmed fans’ hearts, who also believed it was fate that brought them together.
Livvy Dunne claims the ‘invisible string’ theory is real with Paul Skenes story
Livvy Dunne took to TikTok to share an “invisible string” with boyfriend Paul Skenes before they met at LSU. The duo’s connection dated back to 2021, when she attended a game between the Air Force Falcons, which Skenes was then a part of, and LSU.
In the video, Dunne shared she was currently in New Jersey while her mom was helping her move her things out of her Louisiana residence. She showed a photo of the ticket to the 2021 game that her mom found and shared with her. The TikTok star excitedly recalled that it was her “first college baseball game ever.” The ticket stub shocked her because Skenes played in it, and she didn’t even know him back then.
Speaking about the “wild” experience, Dunne said, “I always knew he played LSU, but I never thought I was at the game, like I didn’t know I was there… and I went to that game!”. The gymnast concluded her video, realizing they were “meant to be.”
Pointing out another surprising connection in the caption, Dunne said, “And I don’t usually save tickets to things… cray.”
Meanwhile, fans echoed Dunne’s sentiments, calling the experience “special.” One fan noted how the “universe works in mysterious ways,” while another called the ticket a “sweet keepsake.” A few others expressed their surprise at the couple’s unknown yet memorable connection.
