Prince Harry’s Attempt To Deconflict Labelled PR Stunt, Claims ‘Palace Insider’

Prince Harry is doing his best to reconcile with his family, especially with his father, King Charles III. In a latest attempt to deconflict, the Duke of Sussex reportedly offered to share his diary with the royal family. He made the move with the sole aim of maintaining transparency and avoiding clashes in the near future. However, it seems his efforts fell flat as palace insiders claimed that Harry’s move is nothing but a PR stunt. They believe his peace offering “isn’t about healing — it’s about headlines.”

Prince Harry’s peace offer is not about healing, claims ‘palace insider’

Prince Harry is going all out to mend his ties with the royal family. For his latest efforts, the Duke of Sussex extended his hand forward by reportedly sharing his public calendar with Buckingham Palace “to avoid conflict” in the future. However, it seems the palace insiders are not falling for his “peace offer.” They are labelling it yet another PR stunt by Harry. They believe, “HE LEAKED IT TO LOOK GOOD — NOT TO MAKE AMENDS.”

Talking more about the new development, one longtime staffer told Rob Shuter’s #ShuterScoop that “This isn’t about healing — it’s about headlines.” Although the insider admitted that “Harry still wants relevance.” However, that could be difficult as one “can’t Netflix your family, then ask for a seat at the table.”

The move comes after Harry’s visit to Angola to honor his late mother, Princess Diana, clashed with Queen Camilla’s 78th birthday. The insider claimed that the timing of the visit was no coincidence. According to the palace source, the Duke of Sussex has “broken the golden rule” of “Don’t talk. Don’t leak. Don’t scheme.” Considering the latest developments, “he’s doing all three,” noted the insider.

The news of Harry trying to ease tension with his father is not new. He is reportedly “desperate” to be part of the royal family again. While his “self-serving gesture is notable, it won’t do much to mitigate suspicion and caution on the royal side,” claimed British royals expert Hilary Fordwich. According to the New York Post, Fordwich told Fox News Digital, “King Charles III is now more guarded than ever, indeed somewhat traumatized by a string of betrayals,” adding that the UK’s monarch does not want “private royal family gatherings being publicized yet again.”
