Even though Buckingham Palace announced her remission from abdominal cancer six months ago, Kate Middleton still looks fragile. The statuesque Princess of Wales has shrunk to such a wraithlike appearance that royal watchers fear for her health.
Despite skipping June’s Royal Ascot horse races, normally something of a family event, Kate managed to attend Wimbledon. An extremely slim Kate attended the Wimbledon Championships alongside her husband Prince William and two of their three children, George, 12, and Charlotte, 10. Their youngest child, Louis, 7, stayed at home.
Palace insiders are concerned Kate Middleton is “struggling with her recover from cancer treatment”
“Kate is painfully thin,” a Palace insider told Radar Online. “People are worried it’s a sign that she is struggling with her recovery from cancer treatment – or worse, she’s had a relapse.”
In addition, sources went on to say that the 5′ 9″ princess, who has always been slim, has shrunk to an alarming 90 pounds. “She’s been through so much, and she wants to be there for the royal family and do her part,” the insider added. “But clearly she’s not well.”
Sadly, Kate, who “always had an athletic figure,” reportedly has no appetite following chemotherapy. Consequently, she’s losing weight at a concerning rate and has become “gaunt [with] little to no muscle tone.”
Back in April, the Princess seemed on the road to recovery when she and William took their kids to the French Alps for a ski holiday. Seemingly the picture of heath at the time, Kate skied and posed for smiling photos alongside her family. But it’s possible her bulky skiwear could have easily disguised her shocking weight loss.
“It was lovely to see Kate relaxing and enjoying herself,” a resort staff member told Page Six. “They looked like a normal English family, and a lot of people didn’t recognize them.”
Meanwhile, just a few months later, Palace sources are concerned about the state of the Princess’ health. “She’s been through an arduous journey,” the insider concluded. “Chemotherapy is no walk in the park. It’s left its mark on her.”
