Photos: J-Hope Gives Update on What Some BTS Members Are Doing in LA

The hugely popular South Korean band BTS only recently reunited after completing their mandatory military service and are already working on their new music in Los Angeles. Recently, rapper J-Hope gave fans an update on what fellow band members have been doing in the city on Instagram, and it looks like some of them are also sneaking in some fun time with Charlie Puth.

On August 4, BTS member J-Hope took to Instagram to share an update on what all the band members have been doing in L.A. After completing their mandatory military service, the group reunited as seven in June. While they kept their fans busy throughout their service by releasing solo projects and collaborations, the loyal fan base wanted to see them together.

Now, J-Hope gave fans what they wanted, sharing snippets from the band’s album preparation in L.A. in his Instagram post. The post went viral not only because of the members’ feature, but also because it showed Charlie Puth hanging out with the boys. The last video from the carousel featured Puth playing around with a fidget spinner and giving the youngest BTS member, Jungkook, company. The two had previously worked on the hit song, “Left and Right.”

Puth’s appearance with the BTS members is potentially a sign of another collaboration in the K-pop band’s upcoming album. J-Hope also shared photos of what his other bandmates were up to. His Instagram post featured rapper Suga doing what he does best — strumming tunes on his guitar. Meanwhile, the leader, RM, was seen jamming out to music inside the recording room. The carousel also featured vocalist and dancer Jimin lounging among nature.

Although BTS member V wasn’t a part of the post, he later took to his Instagram Stories to share a picture of Puth, marking his attendance. The photo carousel didn’t feature the eldest member, Jin, most likely because he was busy with his first-ever solo tour. Other photos from J-Hope’s Instagram post showed his many outings around the city and a subtle inclusion of rapper Lil Yachty.

In their first Weverse livestream after their reunion, BTS announced their plans to release their next album. The septet shared that they will be heading to the U.S. to work on new music and will share their work with fans in the spring of next year. They also announced going on a world tour alongside the release.
