As Season 2 of The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys continues on Bravo, Steve McBee’s sentencing date looms over their heads. The patriarch of the dynasty pleaded guilty to committing insurance fraud, which cost the United States Department of Agriculture an estimated loss of over $4 million. He faces up to 30 years in prison, and he doesn’t have much time before the sentencing hearing.

Meanwhile, Bravo fans are watching the rest of the McBees slowly learn about their father’s legal troubles. Early in Season 2, Steven McBee Jr. claimed that only he, Kristi McBee, and Galyna Saltkovska knew about the investigation. He wanted to make sure it stayed that way.
A few episodes later, Calah Jackson let it slip that she also knew about the case. She used it against him after a drunken fight with his brother, Cole McBee.
“The truth will f*ckin’ come out, Steven, and you’re gonna f*ckin’ be buried for this sh*t,” Calah warned Steven Jr.
Of course, the whole world is now well aware of Steve’s crimes and his potential 30-year punishment. That’s a lot of time for anyone, especially a man in his 50s. With that in mind, Steven Jr. recently explained to Us Weekly how their family remains focused on cherishing their time with him.
Steven Jr. said, “The hard part about it is it’s so unknown. We don’t know what it’s going to look like, so we’re preparing. We’re eating dinner together as a family with my dad, including my mom, driving up to the farm three to four nights a week, enjoying the time with the grandbabies. Just really cherishing time as a family because we don’t know what it’s going to look like afterwards.”
