While it was supposed to be a closed-door affair, the details seemingly went public. A former publicist recently called Lively “a master at planting stories.” The source believes that the 37-year-old was behind the alleged leak.

In her recent deposition, she narrated how her co-star allegedly sexually harassed her on the set of “It Ends With Us.” While the Daily Mail provided details from that day, TMZ reported that Lively’s team accused Baldoni of leaking the information regarding her deposition.
Meanwhile, a former publicist hinted to Rob Shuter that the filmmaker might not be the one to blame. They claimed Lively is a pro at “planting stories,” saying, “Now she’s playing victim? Please.” As per the insider, the “A Simple Favor” star and her husband, Ryan Reynolds, have often been in control of portraying their image in the press. Thus, people might not buy into their sudden demand for boundaries.
“She’s always known how to shape the narrative. She just doesn’t like losing control,” another source stated. It further reported that her team has been furious at her “It Ends With Us” co-star’s lawyers for the alleged leak of the deposition details. Lively’s outfit and her supporters, Reynolds and her sister Robyn, were supposedly revealed.
Earlier, a report suggested that the “Jane the Virgin” star was not required to attend Lively’s deposition. His arrival had stunned legal teams of both parties. However, “The Age of Adaline” star didn’t “flinch.” According to an insider, Baldoni insisted on attending it, claiming, “If she’s going to accuse me, she’s going to have to say it to my face.”
