King Charles’ Advice to Prince William Will Help Him to Put Family Before Crown, Says Source

King Charles and Prince William are prominent figures of the British royal family with significant international influence. Thus, the monarch does not want his first son to repeat his mistakes, according to a recent report. The king reportedly advises the Prince of Wales to put his family before the crown. An insider claimed that the 76-year-old seemingly realized that he had not treated his family “well enough.”

King Charles is not just the ruler of the United Kingdom but also a father to the heir to the throne. Recently, RadarOnline reported that he wants his son, Prince William, not to repeat his mistakes of avoiding his responsibilities towards family.

“I was so consumed by my royal responsibilities that I didn’t make enough room for my family – but William has managed to do that,” the outlet quoted the king. He has advised William to prioritize his children before his royal duties. For those unversed, the heir and his wife, Kate Middleton, share three kids — Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. Lately, King Charles appears to be more concerned about his family matters.

Grant Harrold, the king’s former butler, told the outlet that he has also noticed the sudden shift. Referring to the monarch, he mentioned that it might be the “first time” that a King prioritizes “his boys” over the crown. “That’s what I believe, and that’s the first time that would ever have happened in the history of the monarchy,” Harrold added.

While King Charles’ advice shows a change, Prince William seems to have been following it since the beginning. As per a Kensington Palace aide, the 43-year-old has organized his royal duties according to his kids’ daily schedule. He reportedly often drops the children off at school. “He’s made it known that being there for his kids is non-negotiable,” the palace insider said.

Meanwhile, King Charles has also seemingly been trying to bury the hatchet with Prince Harry. Reports suggested that he might bring back his second son and his wife, Meghan Markle, home.
