The talk show host shared Blackstock’s health update on social media because she postponed her work commitments. Clarkson had to further move the dates of the Las Vegas August Studio session. She apologized to her fans, especially to those who “bought tickets to the shows.” However, this is not the first time the celebrity has cancelled her Las Vegas residency show.
Last month, the “Stronger” soloist postponed the opening of the L.A. studio session during the Independence Day weekend. She revealed the reason on an Instagram post, claiming that the “rehearsals have taken a toll on my voice.” She wanted to avoid seriously damaging her vocal cords and thus took a leave for the next week.
Earlier, Clarkson made headlines related to her contract for her talk show, “The Kelly Clarkson Show.” Reportedly, it ends in 2026, and thus, she had a meltdown thinking over the consequences. The songwriter has been rumored to quit the show, which may affect the staff members’ jobs. According to a source, she was allegedly worried about the livelihood of her crew, “but it’s a bit late for that now.”
