Rob Shuter’s #ShuterScoop exclusively learned from sources that the 29-year-old actor did not bag the Best Actor award for his role in “A Complete Unknown” at the 97th Academy Awards. This was reportedly because of his “headline-making romance” with the makeup mogul. Chalamet’s team now reportedly wants him to “ditch” Jenner.
A source stated that Chalamet was “supposed to win for the Bob Dylan biopic.” However, Adrien Brody “swooped in and stole the narrative.” The 52-year-old won the Best Actor award for his role in “The Brutalist” at the 2025 Oscars. If Chalamet had bagged the trophy, it would have made him the youngest winner in the category. According to the #ShuterScoop insiders, the Academy may not have been in favor of his “supporting boyfriend” image.
The insiders alleged that Jenner’s much-talked-about presence alongside Chalamet made the nominee look like a “plus-one at his own party.” One source further stated that the “Dune” star is “in love”, but he is “blind to the fallout.” They continued, “The guy’s got talent,” and added, “but this isn’t the vibe Hollywood rewards.” Meanwhile, Chalamet’s inner circle has reportedly been urging him to call quits on the relationship.
