Harry Potter star Rupert Grint and Ed Sheeran have been uniquely promoting their latest collaboration song, “A Little More.” The new music video is a follow-up to their 2014 music video “Lego House,” in which Grint portrayed the singer’s stalker. As the duo continues to market their latest project, they have updated Sheeran’s Spotify profile picture to feature his doppelganger, who is none other than Grint himself.
Rupert Grint poses as Ed Sheeran on singer’s Spotify profile
Ed Sheeran recently updated his Spotify display picture, replacing it with a photo of Grint, whose appearance closely resembles that of the singer. In the image, Grint wears an orange Ralph Lauren hoodie and keeps his hands in his pockets. He faces the camera with a seemingly confused expression.
This is not the first time Grint has taken over Sheeran’s identity to promote their latest endeavor. Last week, the “Perfect” singer shared footage of himself and Grint wearing floral outfits and lip-syncing to an unreleased song.
Sheeran’s team also posted an official message on Instagram addressing the clip. They noted that someone had breached his profile and that they were working to restore the account. “We’ve been made aware that Ed’s social media accounts have been accessed by an unknown party. Unreleased music has been posted on his profiles. We have been working hard on securing the accounts, and from looking into this further, we have managed to obtain a distorted picture of the person of interest, who appears to be wearing an orange hoodie.”
A note asking viewers to slide the post for context followed the message. In the next slide, Grint reappeared, revealing that everyone was now aware of the breach and the findings. However, he added that they would not be taking down the clip, as their song is “a total banger.”
“A Little More” was released on August 7, 2025. In the song, Grint reprises his role as Sheeran’s stalker, who, after serving his prison sentence, begins a new chapter in his life. He meets a new woman and asks for her hand in marriage. On their wedding day, his obsession with Sheeran resurfaces when he sees his guests and bride transformed into the singer.
