If anything strange can happen to a person, it’s going to happen to Tori Spelling. Mold infestations, paranormal encounters, you name it, Tori has experienced it, and she uses her MisSPELLING podcast to keep fans up to date on the latest.
During the August 6 episode of the pod, she recalled a bizarre tale about her dog getting a hold of human remains. We know it sounds like something out of an Edgar Allan Poe story, but it’s Tori’s real life.
Tori Spelling told a shocking tale about her dog and a severed toe
According to Tori, things got weird when she stayed at a hotel in Toronto. She was still with Dean McDermott at the time, and the two had a couple of days off work.
“So we’re like, ‘Oh, let’s go stay at this amazing Victorian hotel or something.’ So we went and stayed at this hotel, and I think it was me and Dean, and my dog,” Tori recalled.
Tori said this was the “most prestigious hotel” in the area, so they were excited to relax. They kicked up their feet and ordered room service. When it arrived, they got way more than they ordered.
She said, “And I’m not even sure how we found it, but we found a toe. Plot twist. Didn’t see that one coming, did you?”
Tori said it took a minute for them to realize it was a toe. They thought maybe the dug, Musso, got a hold of a piece of their food. She eventually made the grim discovery that it wasn’t food.
“I grabbed it out of his mouth, and that’s when I found it was a severed human big toe, and the creepy part is it wasn’t that old,” Tori claimed.
So, how exactly does a human toe get inside of Tori and Dean’s hotel room? That’s the big mystery. Tori said it was “decayed” and ‘precisely chopped off.” The hotel didn’t have any explanation for it.
“The hotel kind of had no reaction,” Tori continued. “They were like, ‘Oh, we’re so sorry.’ So we, like, put it in a napkin from our dinner, and Dean brought it down to them. But you guys, we never got — I would have been horrified, I would have been like, ‘I’m so sorry, the whole stay is free’ or I don’t even know how you make up for having a human toe in somebody’s bed.”
Tori said they wound up just going back to their room and finishing their stay. They did, however, get a free credit to come back to the hotel, should they want to risk it. It doesn’t sound like they ever did.
“We’re like, turn a blind toe to it and just move on,” she concluded.
