A Pennsylvania mother and former fan of One Direction’s star, Zayn Malik, recently claimed she spent a consensual night with the singer. Tricia Corona, now 32, revealed she met One Direction at a Philadelphia-area album signing on March 17, 2012. After encountering the group, she caught Malik’s attention, leading to a series of unexpected events.
Zayn Malik’s fan shared they were of legal age and the 1D star was very respectful
A former Zayn Malik fan made claims that she had spent a night with the One Direction star over a decade ago. According to her exclusive interview with the Daily Mail, Tricia Corona slipped Malik her phone number. She told the outlet she later received calls from a British number. After a series of prank calls, Malik invited her to his hotel. Corona claimed she and a friend traveled to New York, where Malik and Harry Styles were staying in separate rooms on the same floor.
The now makeup artist recalled talking about One Direction’s rapid rise inside Malik’s suite. After ordering room service, the two got intimate. Corona told the Daily Mail, “We had an adult rendezvous. We were both adults. We were legal, consenting adults, and that’s what I’ll say.” The 32-year-old added that Malik “was nothing but kind and respectful. There was not another person. It was me and Zayn.”
The 2012 leak that fueled years of speculation featured a male voice with a northern-English accent arranging a hotel visit and mentioning Styles by name. Corona said she chose to speak publicly now because the incident represented a part of her past. “We were kids, and that was that,” she told the Daily Mail. “I’m a mom-of-two now. That was a fun time in my life. But this is my life now,” Corona added. She continued, “I’m at a point where I don’t care, I’ll tell you the story. It’s whatever. It happened.”
Corona also emphasized that online assumptions about cheating were misplaced, stating, “That wasn’t the case, there was no cheating involved.” While Corona’s intimate moment with the One Direction star is now going viral, she reflected on the secrecy around fan encounters. She said, “The groupie life is like Fight Club. Don’t talk about it. But, I’m not in it anymore, so I guess it doesn’t matter.”
The Daily Mail reports representatives for Zayn Malik and Harry Styles did not respond to requests for comment.
