Livvy Dunne‘s bombshell bathtub photos for her new and bold football campaign are a treat for the eyes. However, some fans quickly drew comparisons to Sydney Sweeney‘s bathwater ad and her controversial collaboration with Dr. Squatch for a one-of-a-kind soap. Dunne and Fanatics Sportsbook dropped daring snaps of the gymnast posing in a soap-filled tub in a football field. She braved the look with nothing but foam, quite similar to Sweeney’s ad from earlier this year.
Fans believe Livvy Dunne’s bathtub photo is similar to Sydney Sweeney’s bathwater ad
Livvy Dunne’s bathtub photos for Fanatics Sportsbook’s campaign seemingly had fans recalling Sydney Sweeney’s bathwater bliss soap ad. Earlier this year, the actor partnered with Dr. Squatch for their natural body wash for men, which culminated in the release of her soap, consisting of her bathwater as its key ingredient, on popular demand. Despite being at the center of a controversy, the limited-edition product sold out almost immediately.
Now, fans believe Dunne’s jaw-dropping photos for the new football ad campaign are similar to Sweeney’s but not without some key differences. For instance, the latter’s commercial for the men’s personal care brand seemed to be in a more private setting. Meanwhile, the Sports Illustrated swimsuit model posed in an open football field with a playful touch to the images. Nevertheless, the bathtub, the foam, and the clear blue skies in the backdrop were the same.
On Monday, Livvy Dunne and Fanatics Sportsbook shared a joint Instagram post for the bathtub photos, amassing thousands of likes. But some fans’ reactions in the comments stood out as they weaved a parallel with the “Euphoria” star’s months-old ad. “Here come the bath water comments,” wrote one user, while another quipped, “Sasquatch soap be like ‘lemme get your bath water.'” A third individual wrote, “I’ll pay anything for a shot of bath water.”
Despite receiving mixed remarks, some fans couldn’t stop swooning over Dunne’s fearlessnes, calling the pictures “amazing,” among other praises. Some dubbed the campaign “iconic” and called it her best post yet. In addition to the photos, the campaign consisted of a video of the social media star explaining to football fans the perks of switching to Fanatics Sportsbook.
