Austin Butler and Jeremy Allen White have been in the headlines for their bromance amid the filming of their upcoming collaboration, “Enemies.” During the promotion of his film “Caught Stealing,” Butler opened up on his camaraderie with “The Bear” sensation. During the promotion of “Caught Stealing” with Entertainment Tonight, Butler was asked questions about his bond with White. One of his co-stars, Regina King, reads out to him, “Fans are loving you and Jeremy Allen White’s BFF relationships. “She further asks, “What is a recent moment between you two that reminded you why you appreciate his friendship. ” To this, Zoe Kravitz comments, “That was a piece of art!,” while Butler exclaims, “Just dropped the mic. That was fantastic! “
Soon, the 34-year-old began narrating the precious moment with the cast. He said, ” Two days ago we ended up talking on the phone for like an hour, ” with Kravitz going “aww” hearing the story. Butler goes on to say how he loves White, and “It’s nice to have somebody who is a similar type of person. ” King comments that Butler “is very similar. ” As such, the Elvis actor grows curious and asks King if she “spent time with” White.
The Oscar-winning actor says yes and that she directed an episode of White’s 2011 series, “Shameless,” and also acted in a couple of episodes. She explains that Butler and White share “a very similar energy,” which is “very calming and present. ” Butler explains that he loves that and calls White ” a lovely human being. ” Kravitz also calls “The Iron Claw” actor “the best” and “consistent.”
Butler also asks Matt Smith if he knows White, but he claims to have never met him, thus becoming the odd one in the cast. At the end, the ladies wave at the camera, and let White know they are having a love fest conversation regarding him.
