Reality TV relationships aren’t exactly famed for going the distance. Could JoJo Siwa‘s romance with Chris Hughes be an exception? While the jury’s still out on their long-term chances, she recently gave an update on things right now.
JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes’ relationship is still going strong
JoJo, 22, gave an update on her romance with Chris during a recent appearance on British TV show Loose Women. Proving that love is indeed not dead, she said they’re doing great. “He’s the brightest light in my life, he’s the thing that makes me the happiest,” she gushed.
It seems that Chris, 32, has also charmed JoJo’s family. She said her mom “absolutely adores him”, while he and her dad have become “best friends”. He is even set to be a groomsman at her brother’s wedding. Chris, who previously appeared on Love Island UK, is clearly doing something right. JoJo added “My family has never loved somebody like this, like ever.”
The pair met during their time on Celebrity Big Brother UK in April this year. The sparks were flying between them during the show, which came as a pretty big surprise, not least because the Dance Moms star was in a relationship at the time. Despite growing closer on the show, they insisted their relationship was just platonic.
However, after JoJo broke up with partner Kath Ebbs, she and Chris grew closer. In June, the former child star confirmed they were a couple. Since then, there’s been no shortage of loved up posts on social media, and the pair have even been confronted with pregnancy rumors.
JoJo recently completed her North American tour, so her 11 million Instagram followers can probably expect plenty more PDA with her beau in the near future.
