Steven McBee Jr. and Calah Jackson have had an up-and-down, on-again-off-again relationship, but it looks like it’s definitely off for good. The McBee Dynasty: Real American Cowboys star talked about the door being closed for good when it comes to reconciliation between him and his ex.
Fans will remember that infamous trip to the Ozarks, where chaos ensued and the couple called it quits (again). But this was just the latest breakup. According to Steven, the pair have broken up dozens of times before. It seems like this one, though, is going to stick.

The Ozarks breakup wasn’t pretty. Calah threatened that she “knew family secrets” that could effectively “bury the family” if they weren’t careful. This was about the FBI investigation into the McBee patriarch.
Yet, despite all of this, the pair discussed a possible reconciliation during Episode 8 of the show. It looks like that was just a moment of weakness for Steven Jr., though, and he clarified what happened between them on his Instagram stories.
He posted a meme of the moment he was contemplating getting back together with Calah in his confessional. He said, “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results. Well, here I am doing the same exact thing and hoping for a different result.”
Steven added a caption to the meme, writing, “Just here confirming this was indeed a mistake.” He added a laughing emoji. It looks like he has a sense of humor about it, at least.
In another IG story, he shared a different moment from the episode where he was walking beside Calah with his brother Jesse McBee, wondering, “What the hell is going on?” I guess the family also doesn’t think they should walk that road again.
In either case, Steven confirmed with BravoTV.com that he and Calah are no longer dating. “The door is closed” for any chance at reconciliation. Since their breakup, Steven has “dated a couple of girls,” but nothing serious.
