Survivor 49 Cast Includes Marvel Cinematic Universe Movie Producer

A new Survivor cast just dropped, and they’ve got a rocket scientist, the frontwoman of a rock band, and a producer behind the Marvel Cinematic Universe. CBS just revealed the new castaways competing for the $1 million prize, which means it’s officially time to get excited about Season 49. The other good part? This also means we’re getting one step closer to the highly anticipated Season 50.

The Survivor 49 cast also includes two players who will compete on Survivor 50

Jeff Probst and the folks at CBS revealed the 18 new castaways who will compete in Fiji to outwit, outplay, and outlast for their shot at $1 million. There are people from all walks of life in this lineup, but the most notable person is Nate Moore, a Marvel executive who worked on major blockbusters like Black Panther, Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Eternals, and more.

Outside of the MCU connection, there are quite a few interesting people in this lineup. There’s an airport ramp agent from Utah with a surprising head of dreadlocks. You’ve got Kimberly “Annie” Davis, the frontwoman of a band called Trashy Annie. There’s also a “wellness specialist” named Shannon Fairweather, whose name sounds straight out of a soap opera. It’s an intriguing group of people at first glance.

What’s also noteworthy about this cast is that two of them will return for the landmark Survivor 50, which will feature all veteran players. CBS hasn’t revealed which two players from Season 49 will return, so it’s time to start making your guesses.

Survivor Season 49 premieres with a two-hour episode on Wednesday, September 24 at 8/7c on CBS and streaming on Paramount+.
