According to the company, the soaps were all sold out in seconds after their launch. However, the concept faced criticism as well from people online.
In her recent interview with WSJ Magazine, the “Euphoria” star addressed the topic of her bathwater and the ad for the Dr. Squatch soap. She even brought a comparison between her bathwater and that of her “Euphoria” co-star Jacob Elordi.

Sydney Sweeney recently sat for an exclusive interview with WSJ Magazine. During the interview, the “Anyone But You” actor gave her candid reaction to her bathwater soap ad in collaboration with Dr. Squatch. She explained, “It was mainly the girls making comments about it.” The actor and producer continued, “which I thought was really interesting.” After that, Sweeney added, “They all loved the idea of Jacob Elordi’s bathwater.” By this, she referred to a racy scene from the film, “Saltburn” starring Elordi.
During the interview, Sydney Sweeney further went on to open up about why she does not consider Los Angeles her home, despite officially making it to Hollywood. The actor said, “I try not to be here as much as possible.” However, she is highly excited about her new Bel Air place. Back in 2023, she bought the house from director Delmer Daves. While talking about the place, Sweeney revealed, “I’ve been restoring everything and collecting all of his artifacts and art and scripts.” She added, “It’s been really fun.”
Sydney Sweeney also talked about her style. The actor gushed, “I think I just connect to history.” While disclosing whom she looks up to, she said, “I’ve always said that I look up to the older version of myself.” “So I’m hoping that whatever I’m doing now, 40-year-old Sydney will be proud of,” the actor added.
