No hard feelings! Two months after Netflix announced that Queer Eye would end with Season 10, former Fab Five member Bobby Berk has broken his silence about the show’s end. While there have been plenty of rumors that Bobby left the show due to infighting with the cast, Bobby had nothing but positive things to say as the show wraps up its final season without him.
Bobby Berk had “an amazing run” on Netflix’s Queer Eye
When Bobby left Queer Eye two years ago, there were rumblings that he got fired because he was no longer “vibing” with the rest of the cast. Meanwhile, Bobby insisted that he quit but later admitted to having a clash with Tan France, the show’s fashion expert. The theories intensified when Tan’s real-life friend, Jeremiah Brent, replaced Bobby on the show.
Either way, it seems like water under the bridge at this point. In an interview with Us Weekly, Bobby reflected on his run with Queer Eye and the upcoming final season, which will take place in Washington, DC. He had nothing negative to say.
“We had such an amazing run,” Bobby told the outlet. “Technically, with Japan, we did 11 seasons, which is the longest-running Netflix original show ever. And to be a part of that was phenomenal. It was phenomenal, and I can’t wait to see their final season.”
This positive response is a bit of a departure from what we’ve heard from him in the past. Just earlier this year, he was ragging on the show for not paying him well.
Perhaps his positive attitude comes from the fact that he already has his next gig lined up. Just one day after Netflix shared the news of Queer Eye’s conclusion, HGTV announced its new series with Bobby, set to air later this year.
