On Sunday, the NFL star’s dad attended the premiere of “The Kingdom” in Kansas City. At the event, Ed got candid about Swift’s appearance on Travis and Jason Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast earlier this month while exclusively speaking to PEOPLE.
Ed told the outlet that the podcast’s record-breaking episode was “so good” and that it was “awesome.” He continued, “It was great to see them go back and forth.” The proud dad then added that Swift and Kelce are “two people obviously very much in love.” During the interview, Ed also declared the Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s source of “happiness.” The football star’s dad admitted that it’s Swift and that “there’s no question about it.”
Meanwhile, Kelce’s mom, Donna, too, expressed her admiration for the lovebirds during her interview with PEOPLE. She shared her thoughts on Swift’s guest appearance on the “New Heights” podcast. Donna admitted while talking to the outlet that it was “just really, really eventful.” She added, “It was authentic.” Donna further stated that it was “something” that she thinks “everybody was thrilled to see.” She also gushed, “It was a very loving podcast.”
