Zoe Kravitz & Austin Butler’s Dating Rumors Are ‘Business,’ Says Source

Zoe Kravitz and Austin Butler’s dating rumors have been making headlines, but the romance is reportedly part of a strategic publicity stunt. Tied to their film “Caught Stealing” rollout, Kravitz and Butler’s relationship is purely “business.” A new report claimed that all the stolen glances and red carpet moments were about “ticket sales” and nothing else. While their relationship was always a promotional strategy, they were not the only A-list pair in the game.

Rob Shuter’s exclusive #ShuterScoop report squashed the dating rumors between Zoe Kravitz and Austin Butler. According to the report, the pair’s viral moments, including the time Butler seemingly rescued Kravitz from a bee and a follow-up exchange of admiring looks on the Paris carpet, meant “business.” They were reportedly designed to spark headlines rather than advertise their romance.

One source framed the intent, stating, “This isn’t about dating.” They added, “It’s about ticket sales. A little flirtation keeps the cameras flashing — and the box office buzzing.” Another insider pointed to timing, noting both stars are newly single. They said, “The public loves a rebound romance. It guarantees headlines for weeks.” Meanwhile, a third source summarized the dynamic: “Do they like each other? Sure. But are they dating? No. They’re co-stars milking the moment. It’s business, not love.”

The buzz around celebrity couples is fueling the momentum for many film stars. Similar to Kravitz and Butler, Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson are reportedly in another publicity romance to promote their film, “The Naked Gun.” Shuter’s exclusive report on the pair quoted a source: “Their chemistry was real on camera, but off? It was strictly business.” A studio executive distilled the strategy, stating, “This wasn’t about Pam finding love or Liam moving on. It was about box office buzz. Plain and simple.”

Though the claims suggest that Zoe Kravitz and Austin Butler’s dating rumors are false, the report characterizes their rapport as cooperative and professional. Hence, their romance is promotional, and ticket sales remain their top priority.
