Still, Kate Middleton was seen with a rather different look at the weekend. After being snapped on an outing with her family, it became apparent that the princess has gone completely blonde.
Kate, 43, was making her way to Crathie Kirk church near Balmoral Castle in Scotland on Sunday, August 24th. She was accompanied by husband Prince William, 43, and their children, Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7. During her last public appearance at Wimbledon in mid-July, she was seen sporting her usual chestnut hair color.
The princess has been the subject of much hair-envy over the years, with fans desperate to replicate her loose waves and shiny looking tresses. While being a multi-millionaire probably doesn’t hurt, it shouldn’t be too hard to get Kate’s signature hairstyle. The Duchess of Cambridge is a fan of self-gripping rollers, according to Vogue.
Kate has gradually been returning to royal duties following her battle with cancer last year. After announcing her diagnoses in March 2024, she underwent surgery and chemotherapy. She announced her remission in January 2025. However, a royal insider has said the princess may still have a long way to go with her recovery: “Behind closed doors, she’s still struggling emotionally and tires a lot more easily; it’s taking longer to readjust to royal life after her cancer treatment,” the source told Radar Online last week.
