MrBeast has expressed his support for wrestler, Stuart Smith, aka Syko Stu, who was critically injured by Raja Jackson at the KnokX Pro event in Los Angeles. As a result, the YouTube sensation has decided to lend a helping hand to Smith.
MrBeast offers to help wrestler Skyo Stu
MrBeast has offered financial assistance to Skyo Stu following his fight with Raja Jackson. During the KnokX Pro event, Syko Stu and Raja Jackson engaged in an intense wrestling battle, which was apparently a planned wrestling spot.
Syko Stu was knocked out and ended up falling unconscious on the mat. However, Jackson launched 20 real punches to the unconscious fighter. Consequently, Syko Stu was left with broken facial bones and multiple teeth loss.
MrBeast came to know of the incident and expressed sympathy for the injured wrestler. He took to his X (formerly Twitter) account, announcing financial support for him. The 27-year-old wrote, “Dang man, this hurts to see. Especially because I read he was a veteran that used wrestling as an outlet to get over ptsd..” He further added, “Genuinely, if anyone connected to him knows of a way I can help please reach out. If his kid is a fan or I can help with hospital bills idk but I’ll help.”
Meanwhile, the Los Angeles Police Department has decided to conduct a thorough investigation of the incident. KnokX Pro Wrestling also criticised the incident as a “selfish, irresponsible act of violence.” On the other hand, Raja Jackson’s brother, MMA legend Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, also condemned his son’s actions on social media (via Wrestling News Co).
In addition, Syko Stu’s brother gave an update about his condition on Facebook. He said, “Thank you everyone for your prayers, concerns, and kind words for my brother Stu. Please continue to keep him in your prayers. He’s currently stable but in critical care. At this time we’re focused on his recovery and appreciate all the support.”
