Sachia Vickery has recently revealed her decision to launch an OnlyFans account. Speaking to TMZ, she explained that sustaining a professional career is extremely difficult for players outside the top rankings. She said, “At the end of the day, tennis is one of the most expensive sports on the planet, and players fund their whole entire career.”

The tennis star added, “So somebody like me, I have been funding my career since I was 13, and tennis is one of the few sports where if you’re not inside the top 100, you really don’t get paid what you deserve for the level that you’re at. So I just thought it was a great way to make extra money.”

Although she has earned more than $2.1 million in prize money during her career, Vickery emphasized in a CNN interview that the expenses of professional tennis are substantial. Annual costs can exceed $100,000, with funds going toward coaching fees, rehabilitation programs, travel, and medical care.

Her move to the platform came shortly after a significant shoulder injury, which kept her out of competition for nearly six months. With no match income during that period, she turned to subscription-based content as an alternative source of revenue. She said, “The opportunity came up for me to be on an OFTV show, which was Pickleball. And that kind of just boosted everything and I just thought its a great way to have an extra income and its to show another side of me.”

Vickery noted that the response has been mixed. She acknowledged criticism within the tennis community, but also pointed out that many fans have supported her choice. The tennis star also outlined the limits of her content. She stated that she shares fashion and lingerie photography but does not post nude or sexually explicit material. Vickery said, “Obviously, I have lingerie content, I have content where I’m really pushing the boundaries, but I’m never fully naked.”
