Rumors of a huge feud between Ryan Reynolds and Robert Downey Jr. have been swirling online. The actors are said to have clashed on the set of “Avengers: Doomsday”. However, there’s just one problem with those claims, according to an insider…
An insider claims Ryan Reynolds and Robert Downey Jr. have never met on the Doomsday set
The rumor mill has been ablaze with details about a heated argument between two co-stars on the “Doomsday” set. Marvel fans immediately began speculating, and pointed the finger at Ryan Reynolds and Robert Downey Jr.
However, there’s a big problem with this theory. A source has told TMZ that the rumors are not only completely unfounded – they’re logistically impossible. Apparently, the pair haven’t even met in person. So, unless the blowup happened telepathically, it seems the internet has gotten a little carried away here.
Apparently, the two Hollywood giants are actually on pretty good terms. They even talked about Robert making an appearance in “Deadpool & Wolverine.” The A-listers also took part in a charity fantasy football league together.
What’s more, Ryan hasn’t actually been confirmed for a role in the “Doomsday” movie. Which would make his random appearance on the set a little bit odd.
While it’s unclear exactly how the rumor came to be, there’s definitely no shortage of buzz around the movie. And with good cause – it’s going to feature a pretty impressive (and large) cast drawn from the world of Marvel. Confirmed stars include Pedro Pascal, Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Florence Pugh, Sebastian Stan, Vanessa Kirby, Alan Cumming and, of course, Robert Downey Jr.
Unsurprisingly, it’s one of the most anticipated Marvel movies in recent years. We’ve got a pretty long wait, though. It is scheduled to hit screens on December 18, 2026.
