Insiders told the outlet the footballer had proposed to the pop icon two weeks ago at his estate in Leawood, Kansas. Another source confirmed, “It wasn’t spur-of-the-moment.” They added, “The Kelces have known for weeks — and they couldn’t be happier.”
Moreover, Travis’s new haircut look was seen in late July, which is visible in the engagement photos. Additionally, fans suspected that the big day took place before the “Bad Blood” singer’s appearance on the NFL star’s “New Heights” podcast. An insider shared that Swift wanted her family to know about her engagement first. “Taylor wanted the family to be in the loop first,” said the individual. The insider also explained, “It made it more special — they wanted to enjoy those first private weeks before the world got involved.”

I think she was getting maybe a little antsy, but he was going to put her off till this week, to, you know, make some grand thing, to make it a big special event. And I told him repeatedly, you know, you could do it on the side of the road, do it any place that makes it a special event … when you get down on one knee and ask her to marry you.”
