Vanity Fair staffers have caused quite a buzz recently with their less-than-enthusiastic response to the idea of Melania Trump gracing the cover. However, in a recent and not at all petty move, Mrs. Donald Trump has allegedly declared she didn’t want to do it anyway.
Vanity Fair magazine was rejected by First Lady Melania Trump

When Vanity Fair global editor Mark Guiducci threw out the idea of putting Melania on the magazine’s cover, it led to quite a stir. He reportedly tried to coax the former model to take the gig back in July, but VF staff only found out last week. The revelation was not exactly met kindly.
“I will walk out the motherf*cking door,” one editor told the Daily Mail. “Half my staff will follow me. If I have to work bagging groceries at Trader Joe’s, I’ll do it. It sickens me.”
It seems the magazine’s bosses won’t have to worry about a Melania-related mutiny any time soon. Apparently Mrs. Trump didn’t want the cover job anyway. Not only that, a source claims she “laughed” off the idea of posing for Vanity Fair, and immediately turned the offer down.
The source told Page Six: “She doesn’t have time to be sitting in a photo shoot. Her priorities as First Lady are far more important … These people don’t deserve her anyway. She’s way above doing Vanity Fair.” SO THERE.
It’s not the first time Melania has felt the wrath of the magazine industry. Anna Wintour famously shunned the First Lady by refusing to put her on the cover of Vogue. Speaking after husband Donald’s Trump first time in office, she said: “It was their decision, and I have much more important things to do — and I did in the White House — than being on the cover of Vogue.”
The former model has been married to Donald Trump for two decades. They share one son, Barron, 19.
