Miley Cyrus Poses Nude in Body Paint for New Maison Margiela Campaign

Miley Cyrus has undergone quite the style transformation over the past year. And now the singer has taken her fashion icon status to new heights. Posing nude and covered in body paint, the star is the new muse for legendary fashion house Maison Margiela.

Miley Cyrus is painted as the first face of Maison Margiela in 40 years

Miley Cyrus’ fashion style may not be to everyone’s taste, but she is undeniably making history. The star has become the first face of Maison Margiel for four decades. In the French brand’s Autumn/Winter 2025 campaign, she poses nude with the exception of white body paint.

It might seem like a pretty random choice, but the paint is a nod to Margiela’s bianchetto technique. Introduced in the 80s, the treatment involves coating or bleaching material to give it a muted, faded look.

The house’s latest arty images were shot by renowned Italian photographer Paolo Roversi. Miley said of the collaboration in a release: “The nudes by Paolo are so iconic and signature to his art. Standing naked for a fashion campaign felt major. All I wore was body paint and the signature painted Tabi boots. In that moment, Margiela and I became one.”

Miley has been sporting a rather different look in recent months – and it’s not just her attire fans have commented on. Some have speculated the singer may have made a few sneaky “tweaks” to her face. NYC plastic surgeon Dr Jimmy Sung added weight to the rumors.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, he said: “Her cheeks and lips are the giveaways. A little less volume would be more subtle and more youthful. She most likely had a combination of energy devices, injectables, and minimally invasive procedures to lift and volumize her face.”
